Join the Iowa City Swing Dance club for our final two lessons in 2025! You don't need any dance experience or a partner to take the beginner lesson at 7 p.m.. Learn the basic steps for the first time, learn a new role, or brush up on the basics.THURSDAY SCHEDULE
Beginner Lesson | 7:00 - 7:45 p.m.
Social Dance & Practice (all levels) | 7:45 - 8:15 p.m.
Level 2 Lesson | 8:15 - 9:15 p.m.
VENUE: Masonic Lodge. This is down the street from the Iowa City Public Library. There is free parking in the Chauncey parking ramp after 6 p.m.
COST: $10 per evening or $5 for students.
We have two lessons in December: Dec. 11 and Dec. 18. We recommend attending both lessons because concepts and moves will build on each other throughout each lesson. However, drop-ins are welcome anytime, with the understanding that they may not get the most out of the lesson, having missed prior lessons in the series.
