We are hosting a face to face ‘Recruitment Roadshow’ on Tuesday 12th November from 10am-2pm at Lydiard Hotel & Conference centre; pop in for a chat about qualified clinical opportunities to work in your local community in Swindon for Oxford Health NHS Trust. You may be currently looking for a new role or just interested to find out about potential career opportunities in the future. We would love to discuss the full range of development opportunities we have to offer and provide an overview of our excellent staff benefits.

Community CAMHS involves working with children and young people with moderate to severe mental health needs. If you haven't worked with children and young people before you can still apply to work with us. We regularly support mental health nurses and practitioners with adult or community mental health experience to start their career in CAMHS.

This is an exciting time to be in children’s mental health services and in Swindon we are contributing to the innovation and modernisation work taking place across the sector.
We are:
- Delivering a new . This team provides intensive support to children and young people experiencing a mental health crisis. Typically they work to support young people being discharged from an inpatient unit or those who might be at risk of an admissions.
- Rolling out new Mental Health Support Teams. In Swindon these are delivered by ABL Health (link MHST Support and Information – BeU Swindon) and in BaNES and Wiltshire by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. These teams support children and young people who are experiencing moderate mental health difficulties through support they can access at school.
- Working closely with the newly commissioned provider of Getting Help Services in Swindon — ABL Health’s B U Swindon Service — to make sure our services are joined up.
