The Pulpit in Old Town, Swindon hosts a night of comedy as part of the 2026 Swindon Old Town Comedy Festival featuring Award Winning comedians Alex Farrow and Ian Murphy, previewing their 2026 Edinburgh Fringe Shows.

A fan-favourite in Swindon, Alex has been nominated for many awards for his Ed Fringe shows and been given 5-Star Reviews from publicatons and press, including The Scotsman.
He brings his 2026 show to the festival and it will be performed exclusively at The Pulpit!
Ian Murphy £1Million to None
What happens when you lose £1 Million on a live TV gameshow? You write a comedy show about it of course. It is cheaper than therapy after all.
Find out about all the backstage goings on, the real reasons why I lost and what Ant and Dec are really like! Oh and how I played my part in Harry Styles superstardom. Some or all of that may or may not be true, however come and relive the moment my life changed in front of 9M people, right there in their living room.

- We do not accept large parties of stag dos or hen parties, apologies.
- We do not allow people to record any footage of the event on personal cameras or phones
- Some acts may be recording their own performances, however this will not include a front-facing recording of the crowd.
- Any behaviour we deem untoward or too disruptive to the show will return in being asked to leave with the venue's policy on behaviour taken into account, also.
- You are welcome to take photos, we will be taking some on the night for social media purposes.
