About this Event
Step inside one of Australia’s most advanced immersive visualisation spaces and experience science at an entirely new scale.
For the first time ever, Swinburne University of Technology is opening the Swinburne Virtual Universe to the public. This exclusive 45‑minute guided experience combines cutting‑edge visual technology, immersive audio, and real scientific data to take you on a journey far beyond the limits of a traditional screen.
What you’ll experience:
- A 100m² curved LED wall that spans your entire field of vision
- Real scientific datasets visualised at planetary scale
- A 45‑minute guided session led by Swinburne researchers, offering insight into both the science and the technology behind the experience
No prior knowledge is required – just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
What to know before you attend:

- This is a guided experience, with limited capacity
