Early Season SwimRun before Denise's Retirement party!On 6/7 we will have a SwimRun around the west side of Mission bay. Course website: https://triathelites.com/sr/
This is a 14 transition course with 8 run segments and 7 swim segments. Participants will swim with their shoes on, and run with their swim caps on. Unlike traditional SwimRuns, there will be no partner tethers, all participants will be individuals.
Total course length is 8 kilometers (5mi). Combined run distance is 6km. Combined swim distance is 2km. The longest swim is 700m and the longest run is just under 1 mile. Participants are responsible for knowing the course, as there are no course markings. If you get lost, return to Ventura cove ASAP on foot (don't swim back!).
There won't be timing mats, only watches. However, there will be a small raffle for TCSD members who attend.
