SWIM 1922: Water Safety & First Aid Training
Join the Beta Pi Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. for SWIM 1922, a community-focused water safety and drowning prevention event designed to educate youth and families on lifesaving skills and safe practices in and around water.

Time: 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: ASU Tempe SDFC Pool in Tempe, Arizona
SWIM 1922 is a national initiative of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., created to raise awareness about water safety and reduce drowning rates through education, training, and access to swim instruction. Through this initiative, communities are provided with resources and knowledge to help individuals feel more confident and safe around water.
This event will include interactive learning opportunities and demonstrations focused on water safety and emergency response.
Participants will learn about:
- Water safety education
- Basic first aid awareness
- CPR training
- Drowning prevention techniques
- Swim safety instruction
This event is open to youth ages 6 and up and their families.
Free food will be provided.
