Come celebrate a Southern tradition and have a TEArrific Time at the 2nd Annual Sweet Tea Festival in Alabama! This sweet event is steeped, stirred and ready to be served up in Enterprise from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Enterprise Civic Center Festival Field.Following the resounding success of last year's festival the planners are building upon the basic recipe and stirring up ideas to spice up the event even more. This year's festival promises to be an unforgettable experience and will pay tribute to the greatest of all Southern drinks through sweet tea tastings, a Best Home-Brew competition, sweet Southern dining experiences, shopping opportunities with craft, retail and produce vendors, live music and so much more!
Inspired by Alabama's thriving tea industry, the Sweet Tea Festival is a celebration of the beloved beverage that has long been a staple of Southern culture. This year, we're raising the bar even higher, with exciting announcements about musical guests and additional activities to be revealed as the event draws near.
As we prepare to pour out another round of Southern hospitality at this annual event, we extend a heartfelt invitation to friends near and far. Join us as we raise a Mason jar full of sweet iced tea in a toast to this sacred Southern tradition. Whether you're a seasoned tea aficionado or simply looking to experience the magic of small-town Alabama hospitality, you won't want to miss this TEArrific event!
There will be opportunities to be a sponsor, merchant, food vendor or contestant. Registration for all of these will be announced sometime in April.
