I need help!Manchester New Hampshire
I have a bed of sweet potatoes that I was unable to harvest before now.
If I can get them up before they rot, they can be saved for food!
Is anyone up for a digging party on Sunday, November 23, in the afternoon?
(Or if you're available any other time after today, lmk! I have an important birthday party to attend this afternoon, out or I'd be out there today, also.)
I'm thinking 1 o'clock in the afternoon, but earlier is fine, too. Lmk
It's supposed to be 41° that day but I am determined to save whatever I can!
You will be paid in sweet potatoes. We can divide up, evenly, all the good, salvageable, sweet potatoes between those of us who are out there working. (Any that can't be saved will be offered to anyone with livestock or chickens for free.)
The small spots that I was able to dig up, gave me 4 pounds of sweet potatoes.
So, I think there will be a pretty huge volume out of the bed, and hopefully most of them will be savable if I can get out there soon.
Let me know if you're interested! Bring your garden digging forks or shovels, and hand tools you might find helpful.
If you have a basket for a harvesting, bring it so you can take home your share!
