About this Event

Sweat Check Saturday is a free, high-energy community dance fitness experience held the last Saturday of every month, created to get bodies moving, spirits lifted, and people connected.

This 60-minute class is designed for dancers of all levels, whether you’re seasoned or just here to catch a vibe. Expect a feel-good blend of hip hop, R&B, Caribbean, and Zumba-style rhythms that will have you sweating, smiling, and forgetting you’re even working out. The class is welcoming, inclusive, and recommended for ages 13 and up, making it perfect for teens, adults, friends, and families who want to move together.

Dance is more than fun, it’s powerful. Regular movement through dance has been shown to support heart health, coordination, balance, and endurance, while also reducing stress, boosting mood, and improving mental clarity. Dancing engages both the body and the brain, helping with memory, focus, and emotional well-being. It’s exercise that doesn’t feel like exercise, and joy that just happens to come with benefits.

Sweat Check Saturday is also about connection. Moving together builds community, breaks down barriers, and reminds us that wellness doesn’t have to be isolating or intimidating. This is a space where you can show up as you are, move at your own pace, and be part of something bigger than a workout.

After class, stick around and explore a curated selection of health and wellness vendors, offering products and services designed to support your lifestyle beyond the dance floor. It’s the perfect opportunity to shop local, discover new wellness brands, and continue the conversation.

Come sweat, connect, and reset with us.

Bring a friend, bring your energy, and let’s make movement a monthly ritual.
