👚 Do come along and support our next Clothes Swap event on Saturday 20 June, 2 - 5pm. 👚👖We all need to become savvy shoppers to prevent unwanted items ending up in landfill, so clear out your wardrobe of unwanted items (you know you have some!) and bring them along to our Swap to exchange for a whole new wardrobe.
👠You can drop your items at Belper Community Hall between 1.30-2.00pm and we will have a drinks and cake available to purchase in our waiting area where you can pass the time until our Swap opens at 2pm. Swapping is 2.00-5.00pm.

👜When you arrive with your items to Swap, our Swap Shop Assistants (SSAs) will exchange your items for a token (for either 5 items or 6-10 items, depending on how many you bring), after checking that your items are suitable for swapping. All items must be clean and in good condition - items which do not meet this criteria will not be accepted.
💷You can bring a maximum of 10 items for £10.
👚 If you don't want to bring 10 items you can bring any number less than 10, but the minimum fee to participate in the Swap is £5.
👢(5 items or less = £5; 6 - 10 items £10; no more than 10 items per person).
👕Once the Sale is open, you can browse and select your new items. You may like to take a break and enjoy a drink from our refreshment area. Once you have chosen your items, you need to "check out" with our SSAs by handing over your tokens.
🪞 We will have a private area with mirror where you can try on clothes before deciding on your Swaps, should you wish to.

Items that can be swapped: dresses, blouses, shirts, blouses, trousers, cardigans, jumpers, hoodies, belts, scarves, handbags, coats, t-shirts, leggings, shoes, boots, trainers.
All must be in good condition - think about whether you would be happy to receive them yourself.
Items that cannot be swapped: underwear, nightwear, sportswear, swimwear.
In theory, if everyone takes home the same number of items as they bring (5 for 5 for example), we should not have leftover items, but anything that is leftover wil be donated to local charity shops.
Any money raised from the event will be used to support the running and upkeep of Belper Community Hall - registered charity number 1078761.
If you would like to help out at our event, we will also be looking for volunteers to help run the event and people to make and donate cakes to sell.
