Come and explore interconnectivity and community building though song, harmony and layered rhythms. In these times of alarming change, lets continue to kindle human-scaled beauty in the face of uncertainty. Weaving voices to warm and nourish our hearts while bolstering our resolve to cherish life with gratitude and carry renewed strength to our homes and wider communities through precarious times.Across centuries and millenia, there have been many times of cataclysm. Throughout cultures people have - and continue to - sing in the direst of cirmustance. Singing is one of the ways people steady themselves, remember who we are, keep threads of solidarity alive when larger forces feel overwhelming.
Singing together is not a solution to the crises afoot, but a way of countering numbness and isolation those crises can produce. When we sing, we're not separate voices competing to be heard, but a living weave of voices responding to one another. And perhaps that matters more than we can ever know.
Whatever your singing experience and ability, your voice is tenderly welcomed and valued. Songs are taught by ear gradually, learning through listening, with patience and encouragement.
