Our annual Swansea ghost town/ Desert Bar trip! Slated for MLK weekend 2026! Meetup is Saturday 1/17 at 8am at the Circle K located in Goodyear off of the I10 and Pebble creek parkway. From there, we'll head out on I10 west to Wenden, and then north on Alamo road to start our trail. Our trail will be the updated route following the pipeline trail to the hill climbs and down to the old railroad bed and wash. We'll follow this to swansea, where we can explore for a bit, and depending on time either set up camp, or push for a further camp site. Sunday we'll head over to parker taking a new route, and then take the back way to the desert bar sunday, do some exploring, camp, and returning to phoenix monday. Trails should be suitable for stock 4x4 vehicles with low range and all terrain tires.
