The community is warmly invited to attend the ANZAC Day March in Swansea as we come together to honour and remember those who have served.This event will follow on from both the Catherine Hill Bay and Swansea Dawn Services.
🕚 March begins at 11:00am
📍 Location: Pacific Highway, Swansea
🕥 Form up at 10:45am in front of Swansea McDonald’s
We encourage the community to line the highway to watch and support the march, before proceeding to the RSL ANZAC Memorial for the service following the conclusion of the march.
⚠️ Important Information:
Please ensure you are within the grounds of the RSL ANZAC Memorial once the march concludes, as the highway will be reopened shortly after.
It is imperative that all attendees follow the directions of traffic control, along with RFS and SES personnel, who are assisting to ensure everyone’s safety and the smooth running of the event.
If you are not within the RSL grounds when traffic control advises that the highway is reopening, please proceed along the western side of the road and enter the RSL grounds via the walkway under the Swansea Bridge.
