THIS IS NOT AN INFORMATIONAL WORKSHOP - PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS...
For businesses needing technical assistance with applying for SWaM and/or DBE Certification. (NEW APPLICATION or RE-CERTIFYING.)
If you are a FOR-PROFIT business interested in becoming SWaM/DBE Certified in order to do business with the Commonwealth of Virginia, SBSD staff will be on-site to provide assistance with the on-line process to apply for SWaM and/or DBE Certification.
In this session you will create your account, receive assistance with uploading REQUIRED documents and submitting your application.
Limited Seating ... RSVP is required ... YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN LAPTOP!
SWAM CERTIFICATION - See images below for REQUIRED SUPPORTING documents.
DBE CERTIFICATION - - Scroll down to DBE Section and click on DBE/ACDBE DOCUMENT CHECK LIST. You will also need the UNIFORM CERTIFICATION APPLICATION and the PERSONAL NET WORTH STATEMENT - (MUST BE NOTARIZED ... Notary will be on staff if needed)
IMPORTANT: Please scan your REQUIRED SUPPORTING documents (each document scanned separately) on a flash drive, laptop or tablet. (Chrome works best) - WiFi will be provided. (scanning help is also available if needed).
Applicants will receive an email and/or phone call prior to session to verify attendance and to make sure you are ready to apply.
