Naarm band SWAB are making their way north in July, to showcase their wild blend of early 80’s east coast US/ Japanese HC in the vein of Jerry’s Kids, The Comes and Urban Waste!
Releasing a demo cassette back in 2019, and then a debut 7” and LP in 2022 after a short delay due to covid, SWAB are heading to Meanjin for the first time to play at The Bearded Lady on Saturday 6 July, supported by local bands Sick People, Exit-Ploom, Drudge and Midgee.
Swab contains members of other bands like Alien Nosejob, SKXI, Southern Crustacean, Ausmuteants, Ill Globo and Vanilla Poppers.
If you’re looking for infectiously catchy punk rock with sardonic lyrics and rapid-fire drum fills, this band will fucking rule your world!
