The Suzanne Pittson Trio — a chordless group with voice, bass and drums — features continuous interaction and improvisation with each instrument playing a pivotal role in the ensemble. Vocalist Suzanne Pittson has been recognized for her musicianship and improvisational skill, called by All About Jazz“more than just a singer, but a jazz musician, using her voice as another instrument.” And the Los Angeles Jazz Scene calls her “a superior scat singer.” Bassist Harvie S has collaborated with a plethora of jazz luminaries, leaving an indelible mark on the global jazz scene. His dynamic bass lines and innovative approach to rhythm have earned him widespread acclaim among critics and audiences alike. And drummer Tim Horner, called “one of the finest jazz drummers in the business” has shared the stages of so many of New York’s major venues, and the artists he has worked these venues with span a large cross section of jazz history.
