Join us in the Walled Garden for a relaxed willow weaving workshop with talented willow artist🌿on Saturday 22 February 2025 from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Learn the fundamental skills and weaving techniques required to create a sustainable willow 🌿 plant support. Ideal for your climbing roses🌹, clematis, or sweet peas.
Enjoy individual guidance and assistance, tools and materials, morning and afternoon teas including homemade scones and cake, and a delicious homemade seasonal lunch.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with experience alike, as local willow artist, Heather will guide you through the various practical weaving processes involved. You will also visit our Salley garden, weather permitting, and learn how the willow is grown, cut and processed so please dress accordingly
