About this Event
Illinois State Representative Anna Moeller is headlining this timely event. She'll be joined by the nationally renowned advocacy group Illinois Environmental Council. Then, you'll learn about the Kane County and City of Elgin's Climate Action Plans and what you can do to support and participate in the plans. Between speakers, you'll hear from local sustainability & environmental groups and how you can join their efforts. After the speakers, you can choose to stay for community: take a nature hike (in a rare forested fen); tour EMSA's sustainably remodeled historic buildings; and/or visit community tables. By the end of the afternoon, you’ll have taken action on key sustainabilty and environmental issues and met like-minded community members!
