About this Event
Many of us are passionate about our coffee. Climate change threatens to damage global coffee production by increasing pests and diseases, disrupting predictable weather, and stressing coffee plants. Over time, this can lead to lower yields, higher prices, and falling incomes for coffee growers. Raising awareness of these risks is part of our efforts to combat climate change and adapt to a warming world.The Crow’s Nest is proud to host a coffee tasting led by coffee connoisseur Kris Fulton of Baltimore's Sophomore Coffee. Kris will be helping us savor and appreciate three coffees, one from each of the major growing regions of the world. He will also share the stories behind these coffees and how environmental change is affecting their production.
