The Sussex Art Club, in collaboration with the AX, is thrilled to present the first-ever "non-artist" Portrait Artist of the Year—a truly uproarious community event—on Sunday, May 24, from 2:00–4:30 PM at the AX Cultural Centre, 12 Maple St., Sussex.
Get ready for some good-natured fun as local community "celebrities" (listed above)—with absolutely no portrait painting experience—face off in a memorable competition to paint the mayor of Sussex, Marc Thorne. With a roving reporter on hand to stir up delightful banter and three judges ready to crown the winner, you can expect plenty of laughter and lighthearted moments.
Whether you're an art lover or simply seeking some Sunday afternoon amusement, everyone is welcome! Bring your friends and family for an unforgettable day of spirited fellowship, delicious finger foods, and a cash bar to keep the good times flowing.
Tickets are $15.00 & available through the QR code above or in person at the Jubilee Seniors Centre, 50 Perry St., Sussex, NB. (ask Carla) or bought with cash at the door on the day.
