Born in Düsseldorf, Germany, Dr. Schuenke studied in Cologne and London before earning her doctorate from the University of Cologne in 1986. Her oil paintings and watercolors reflect the refined technical quality of the Old Masters, enriched by her distinctive stylization and nuanced palette. Through lyrical narratives, philosophical inquiry, and socio-political themes, her surrealistic compositions invite viewers into contemplative and thought-provoking worlds.
