Susana Miller is the preeminent teacher of milonguero style social tango. She coined the term milonguero after observing social dancers in the milongas when the tango renaissance started in Buenos Aires in the 1980s. She carefully studied the dancing styles of the older anonymous and intuitive milongueros in order to transmit it to new generations of social tango dancers. Her work as a teacher has shaped the popular art of tango as we know it today--not only in Buenos Aires but also around the world.Because she prefers to work deeply with students, she will teach just two workshops: June 20 and 21, each from 2-4pm at In His Steps. Each workshop will be limited to four couples so that she can provide individual guidance and corrections. $100/couple for single workshop, $180 for both.
