Survival Basics for Kids
This is a 6-week course that is 2 hours a week, 10 am to 12 pm, and starts on Oct 2nd.
Join us for a fun and educational event where kids can learn essential survival basics in a safe and engaging environment. Hosted in Mansfield, this in-person event will cover important skills like building a shelter, finding food and water, and basic first aid. Our experienced instructor will guide the kids through hands-on activities and demonstrations to help give them basic survival skills. Don't miss this opportunity to equip your child with valuable survival knowledge!
Kids will get items given to them as they go through the course building a survival kit that they get to keep after the course!
This course will be taught at a County park in Richland County.
**The instructor is an Army combat veteran of various units including an Arctic Infantry unit where he taught arctic light infantry training, and a SAPPER company where he learned aspects of mobility, counter-mobility, and survivability, he still serving in the Army National Guard. On the civilian side, he is currently employed as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic in rural southeast Ohio.
