Catering Policy at WWF

Our catering policy aims to demonstrate best practice in the way we consume food. We all need to eat, but the way we produce and consume food is putting an impossible strain on the planet. If food is produced more sustainably, distributed fairly and consumed more responsibly, we can improve both human and planetary health.

All the food served at the Living Planet Centre focuses on 3 primary areas - Livewell Principles

(a diet that can reduce our carbon footprint and our impact on water and land), minimising waste, and responsible sourcing.

We work with a local environmentally friendly supplier who are committed to taking a sustainable approach to catering. From the seasonable and locally sourced ingredients they use, to how they conduct their business, working hard to minimise food waste, reducing the use of single use plastics and recycling everything where possible.

What this means for our clients is quite simply, fresher, healthier and more tasty food on your menu.
