About this Event
Summary
Many interpreters look at teaming from an individual standpoint. The tendency is to go into a teamed assignment with our own experiences and expect that to be the norm. This workshop takes a look at best practices in a teaming environment and how each interpreter’s needs can be met. Participants will be able to address concerns they have experienced and come up with solutions on how to address future concerns. The workshop starts with activities that allow for group discussion. Participants will later get hands-on experience through activities that involve teaming English to ASL as well as ASL to English.
