For January’s On the Wall Art Workshop, we’ll have fun drawing animals using a playful art practice invented by the Surrealists called Exquisite Corpse.What is Exquisite Corpse?
It’s a collaborative drawing game where each person draws a different section of a creature—without seeing what the others have drawn. One artist might create the head, another the body, another the legs, and someone else the tail. When we unfold the paper, we reveal a wonderfully strange, unexpected animal that no single person could have imagined alone.
This workshop is all about creativity, surprise, and joyful experimentation—and it’s perfect for drawing animals in wild and imaginative ways.
