This week we stay with the heart openers.
To stay within the working week and the moon phase, we double up on the heart openers, focusing again on the backbends. These poses help to expanding the chest and heart area, promoting better posture and counteracting the effects of slouching, helping to release emotions and tension stored in the heart centre, promoting emotional release and creating space for self-love and compassion.
Backbends increase flexibility in the spine and shoulders, leading to improved mobility and a sense of friskiness in the body, continuing to incorporate heart-opening poses throughout the week, we deepen the connection to ourself and others, fostering feelings of openness, vulnerability, and resilience both on and off the mat.
