That's right, SurfXSurfwest 2026 is again coming back to Darrell's Tavern in beautiful Shoreline, WA, for Friday night, July 24th, and Saturday, July 25th!
Friday night, you will be entertained by the ska inspired surf sounds of Minor Keys; the spaghetti western and movie soundtrack vibes of Trabants (Portland); the powerful spooky horror surf of The Delstroyers; and closing out the night will be a special reunion of local favorites, The Mercury Four!!
Holy crashing surfboards, how does Saturday follow a bill like that?!
Saturday afternoon starts with a bang as brand new surf band, The Blue Unknown (with former members of the Cosmic Wrays), bring on their exciting new sounds!
We continue the day with The Viking Surfers, who will pillage our ears😉, with their Norwegian flavored surf!
We barely catch our breath and then The Von Dwells, a newish surf band from Portland, OR, will hit the stage with their fuzzed out hot rod surf tunes!
We next get the enchanting sounds of Tempe, Arizona's Desert Undertones. They've been getting a lot of buzz in the surf music world and Seattle is in for a treat!
We then roll into local mainstays, The Evanstones, who will showcase songs from their brand new full-length album!
Next up are King Pelican, with members from San Antonio, TX, and Portland, OR! Their sound is a combination of trad and modern surf with a Texas influence!
Up next, The Woodhavens, this year's Gremmy award winner for Modern Surf Album of The Year, will enthrall us with their melodic catchy tunes!
Closing out the night are the mighty Boss Martians!! If you've never heard of them, you are in for a treat as you experience one of the best live bands that you'll ever see! The Martians have headlined all over the world and we are lucky that we get to see them regularly in Seattle!
