Supporting the Journey: Palliative Care Education for Families
Join us for an informative education session by Sarah Jerome, Palliative Clinical Nurse Specialist from Michael Garron Hospital’s Integrated LTC Program. Open to all families of residents living at the Houses of Providence. This session will provide an introduction to palliative care—what it is, how it supports quality of life, and when it may be appropriate. Topics will include how families can partner with the care team to ensure their loved one’s needs and wishes are respected.
The session will be hosted in-person at the Houses of Providence in the Great Room.
