About this Event
Join us for an interactive, one-hour workshop led by pediatric occupational therapists, designed to equip parents, caregivers, and educators with effective tools to help children with self-regulation difficulties reach their potential in social situations. Learn how to foster social competencies vs. basic social skills, improve social awareness and the development of perspective taking, build relationship skills and executive functions to connect with peers/others, and learn how self-regulation impacts responsible decision making skills. Through sharing approaches to common problems seen through mini-case presentations, you’ll take away strategies that can be implemented into daily routines that can help a child navigate their complex social environment more successfully.
