About this Event

We, in partnership with West Integrated Neighbourhood Team, are working with local people and health professionals in Barking & Dagenham to create a new, community-led way of supporting those living with Type 2 Diabetes. This solution will be designed with those affected by type 2 diabetes, so it fits real life and connects well with local health services.

In our workshops, we will look at:

What support is already available, whether you know about it and whether it helps
Feeling more confident when speaking with doctors, nurses, and other services
Understanding Type 2 Diabetes better and what helps to manage it
Making health information clearer for everyone

We welcome anyone who has type 2 diabetes, supports someone with type 2 diabetes, or works with people with type 2 diabetes in our community. This co production process will help us build a programme that truly works for local people. We hope you can join us!
