Why should I attend?
Through a mix of talks, round table discussion, panel Q and A and workshops you will learn more about Versus Arthritis, how to involve and engage patients and the public in your research, how to design equitable research, available support, career and funding pathways, how to write small grants, research operational support including costing and many other topics.
This event provides a unique opportunity to talk to, and get feedback on your research and career plans with members of the public and the MSKD Research Advisory Group. Attendees will be able to give a 5 minute elevator pitch to a panel for feedback with prizes awarded for the best pitches.
The event is free to attend. Travel expenses will not be routinely reimbursed and we encourage applicants to seek their own funding for travel. However, we do not wish travel costs to be a barrier to attendance and there is a limited budget for travel assistance which can be applied for.
