About this Event
Supported Volunteering - Find out more about how we can help you volunteer
Join us at the Priory Street Centre on June 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM (BST) to explore how we can support your volunteering journey. Whether you're new to volunteering or haven't volunteered for some time, new to the area or want to get more involved, we can help you navigate becoming a volunteer. Not sure where to start, we can help you take that first step. Come along, ask questions, and meet others interested in volunteering. All sessions will be informal and friendly and if you'd like to chat with or meet Sadie, the Supported Volunteering Project Coordintator, before coming to a session just email [email protected].uk or call 07922 66553.
You can find out more about and register interest in future sessions on:
- Finding the right volunteering opportunity for you - navigating the information.
- Why volunteer - developing a personal plan with volunteering as the goal.
- Different types of local volunteering opportunities - what is it like to be a volunteer?
- The application process for becoming a volunteer - help filling in forms.
If you are interested in volunteering, if anxiety, confidence or motivation make taking that next step challenging, if you are looking for a bit of extra support, we can help.
