About this Event
Join us for our Supported Internship Connections event at the Holiday Inn. A Supported Internship is an unpaid internship, which is often the first step into the world of work for young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
This event is for employers to discover how internships can support your business and save on recruitment time and costs. Employers can also identify how Supported Internships can enhance their reputation around equality, diversity, and inclusion (ED&I) alongside supporting corporate social responsibility (CSR) targets.
Meet current employers who are currently hosting interns within their business, along with Norfolk County Council’s SEND Employment Officer. These employers have first-hand experience of hosting internships and employing interns and are keen to share their experiences.
This event is free to attend and includes lunch. Places are limited so book now to secure your place.
