Crawlspace Comedy Theatre presents the Superstar Poetry Show. For those “in the know” improv-wise, this could be described as a poetry–based Armando. In the show, poet Emily Haines Lloyd will share what inspired the writing of one of her original poems, she will then read that poem live. Improvisors will then perform scenes inspired by the poem. The show will feature 4-5 of the poet’s original work. The mixture of poem and improv scene work will produce a collection of experiences that will find unexpected connections and hilarious moments. Emily Haines Lloyd is a prolific writer, including the popular collection “Pep Talk Poetry”.Show Date: Aug 29
