Peggy Cornett – Thomas Jefferson’s Flowers-Enjoy an intimate talk with Peggy Cornett, acclaimed author of Thomas Jefferson’s Flowers! Peggy will discuss her book and the research behind it, highlighting Thomas Jefferson’s beautiful and unique plant collection and its significance in American horticultural history.

Music in the Garden – Rivanna Winds
The Garden has received a generous grant to feature a classical music performance series in the Garden. Enjoy this free outdoor concert and bring chairs or blankets as seating is limited in our mini amphitheater. If it rains, the performance will take place under the tent.

Native Plant Walk-Join Virginia Master Naturalist John Holden for a Native Plant walk over gentle terrain. You’ll learn to identify Virginia Native Plants in a variety of ways. Space is limited to 16 Participants.
