SUPER-HORROR-RAMA! moves to Sideshow Gelato in Lincoln Square for three nights of brain-freezing terror! Bring your friends and make new ones as we chat about all things horror, cool off from the summer heat with sideshow-inspired gelato (10% discount for attendees), and enjoy blood-drizzled fright flicks that send ice cream trucks into nightmare territory.
Every feature presentation is preceded by Giveaways for the first folks who answer our trivia questions correctly, a Surprise Short Feature in keeping with the theme of frozen desserts, and a brand new Video Intro by Drive-In Asylum, a fanzine exploring classic eras of horror, sci-fi, cult, and exploitation films through vintage newsprint ads.
2 Limited Edition Pinback Buttons are included with every ticket with new designs each week.
In PHANTASM, Reggie is a scene-stealing ice cream man who wears his snazzy white uniform for most of this bizarro adventure while a mysterious Tall Man has otherworldly cravings for cold temperatures. In ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13, an ordinary ice cream man senses his doom as a shadowy vehicle drives by his truck with alarming frequency. In ICE CREAM MAN, beloved horror icon Clint Howard plays an insane asylum escapee with frozen products so disgusting they would make the Health Department die of explosive vomit!
You can PAY WHAT YOU THINK THE SHOW IS WORTH to make a reservation and guarantee a seat. You may also come in and get a seat on a first come, first served basis. Should you choose, you can pay what you feel the show is worth at the door.
