Official Announcement for the June 2026 Anniversary Car Show: In an effort to keep up with all the interest our June 20th Car Show has received, I was able to get approval to stretch this event out over two days.
Attached is the itinerary for the weekend that not only marks the first day of summer but also Father’s Day. To register for the car show only or to explore what movie deals we have as well as overnight packages and to get in on the cruise to Route 66 the next day, go to www.starlitepromotions.com or email us at [email protected] and we will be more than happy to customize a deal that works great for you, your car group, and your family!
As with most of our daytime events, this will be free to the public to check out after 10am but $20 gets you registered in advance for the car show only (which means you can by-pass the $25 box office registration from 8am-10am). Click this link to pre-register: https://order.starlitepromotions.com/b/28EaEP61653j78ucVIco001
At 11am The C.J Riley Workshop will be there the rest of the day with their Photo Booth and sticker shop to print customized and personalized memorabilia just for you! Then at around noon, our buddies from Smokey and the Bandit (Sheriff Justice plus the rest of Eastbound and Down) will be there with their cars to entertain, sign autographs or take part at the Photo Booth! Carmil Car Audio is sponsoring this event and will be showcasing their systems for all to hear! This is also brought to you in part by Car Show Pilot where we couldn’t have organized this without them!
We will also have plenty of options to eat! Our food trucks include Philly D's El Zamorano and Wildcat Ice Cream LLC with a very limited snack bar and concessions but at least there will be something for everyone!
Next, at 1pm Santa Z from Clay Cooper’s Branson Show will be there to announce the awards ceremony which only has 8 categories and should cover all types of vehicles (if we can get more sponsors I’ll add more categories but as of right now I can’t afford to add more trophies).
Once 2pm rolls around, car show participants get first dibs on the movie packages and will be sold per vehicle, meaning, what’s available will depend on how many parking spots we have. Wristbands will be required to stay though. Admission tickets for spectators will be $50 a car after 6pm and may not be available as it depends on how many of our VIP car show participants choose to stay.
From 3 until the movie begins, we will have backyard games, a backyard BBQ, music and old-style entertainment while we wait for the Aurora MO Chamber of Commerce to finish their Light the Night fireworks show from our front-row view of them. During that time, Ozark Valley Glamping will be setting up any pre-ordered tents with mattresses and lights which we wanted to provide for our out-of-town visitors only.
You can also bring your own tent and stay overnight for only $25 if you live out of town! This not only helps with the few hotel accommodations in the area but it also keeps our participants and their cars in a safe, secured place and also, it makes for easier access when getting in the line the next day where we take our 75th anniversary celebration from the drive-in and head to Paris Springs to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Route 66 (a short 20 min drive down one road) to Spencer Station - Route 66 and Gary’s Gay Parita/Barbara and George in Parita Missouri
The Route 66 cruise-in is free for anyone who registered the day before but get there early as we will start lining up at 11am at the exit and head out between 12-12:30. If you can only attend Sunday’s event, it’s $10 cash at the box office the day of. You must register to attend due to regulations regarding traffic rules as put forth by the city and highway to ensure this part of the adventure will be safe and fun for everyone (and not just those in attendance).
Once we make it to the old iron bridge and the Paris Springs Access swimming hole, we will call it a day. You can either hang out and picnic in the rugged terrain or hop right on the interstate for easy access home.
It is our duty to provide the most convenience and comfort for those traveling far and wide to attend and I assure you, we take that to heart. Our love for the classics, the vintage, the nostalgia is more than a passion, it’s our prerogative so that anyone coming from far and wide feels more than welcome to come to do this again.
In fact the success of this event is also important so that we can do this again despite the fact this may be the last year the drive-in is open. That is why, we want to leave a lasting impression and do it right the first time, so that it isn’t our last.
I hope that answers everyone’s questions. For those who have registered already, registration packets will be emailed where you get a chance to add-on any additional amenities you weren’t aware of when we first started. I’ll continue to update everyone here on Tuesdays as new info comes in. Thanks again for all your support. I look forward to an iconic weekend that I now bub thee “Sunset on 66 - Two-Day Classic Car Anniversary Event”
See you there!
