Swing by our taproom on the first Wednesday in Nov, Dec & Feb as well as the second Wednesday in January for some caramelized beer... and s'mores!We will be heating up beer caramelizers (metal rods) in wood burning fire pits in our beer garden. Those red hot metal rods will then be placed into your beer for a few seconds so that it both caramelizes the sugars & changes the flavor while the foam rises. You'll end up with a cold beer and hot foam and the contrast in temperature helps to provide a unique beer drinking experience.
You'll just purchase a beer at its normal price then come out for the caramelization at no extra cost. We will have a list of recommended beers based on vigorous tasting trials but you're welcome to get this done to any beer we have on tap that day. The recommended beers will be mostly from our Malty & Roasty category.
