Community Greening has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to pass out 150 FREE TREES on Saturday, May 16th in the Village Art Plaza next to City Park in Sunrise!There are NO RESIDENCY RESTRICTIONS for this giveaway. Anyone will be able to take home a FREE Florida native shade tree or fruit tree to plant in their yard.
These trees will provide valuable shade, lower energy costs, and increased property values!
Species Options Available:
Native Trees: marlberry, satinleaf, sugarberry
Fruit Trees: avocado, mango
All trees will come in a 3-gallon container and include species information and planting guides.
The giveaway will begin at 10am. Tree inventory is expected to run out.
Trees will be passed out on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of one tree per household.
