Easter Sunday, April 5th, Mount Zion Baptist Church warmly invites the residents of Toccoa and surrounding Stephens County to join them in celebrating the foundation of the Christian faith: the resurrection of Jesus Christ.Mount Zion will host two distinct opportunities for worship, reflections, and community fellowship on Easter morning.
The celebration begins as dawn breaks with a Sunrise Service at the Mountain, starting at 6:30 AM. all sister churches are asked to participate. Donations go to promote Eddie Wheeler Fund which helps those that are less fortunate in our community.
Following the sunrise service, a celebratory Morning Worship Service will begin at 11am. This service will feature inspirational music, and a message centered on the hope and power of the resurrection.
"We are thrilled to offer the community these opportunities to gather and reflect on the reality that 'He Is Risen.'
Whether you are joining us for the first time or the hundredth, we welcome you to celebrate with us."
Both services are open to the public, and families are encouraged to attend together.
