🎯 'That Hits The Spot' returns on Saturday 29th June, returning to the beautiful Whiterock beach, just north of Killiney beach.
If you haven’t been before, it’s a gorgeous spot that you can get to by walking down the many steps from Vico Road, or from Killiney beach (if the tide is out!)
On the morning we'll be spending 45-60 mins doing a movement session. This will consist mainly of functional movements- also incorporating aspects of yoga, core, and primal movements 🦀
The focus throughout the session will be on enhancing strength & mobility, incorporating little challenges. We’ll also be doing some fun partner work 👫
Towards the end we’ll take a few minutes to go quiet, go inwards, reflect & relax.
The whole idea is letting people find their own groove, and what works for them, ideally looking to unlock old patterns of movement. So you don’t need to have a particular level of fitness to get involved, just come as you are!
Once we've hit the spot we'll then do a quick change and head into the waters together. Whiterock is lovely to swim in, especially in the morning, and you can swim there at any tide.
Afterwards there'll be some more movement to warm up, but this (like the other aspects) is entirely optional!
If folks bring tea/snacks, we can hang around and chat afterwards for a while too 🙂
Checklist (what to bring):
- Some type of mat
- Gloves
- Swim gear & towel (boots recommended if you have them)
- Water
- Some type of rain jacket is recommended
- Hot drink (optional)
- Snacks for afterwards (optional)

There’s free parking above on Vico Road. There are Dart stations close by but they won’t be running that early, so if you need a lift please let me know and we can try to arrange a carpool with someone 🚗
