Sunna Gunnlaugs presents a new quartet at the Reykjavik Jazz Festival and has invited one of Germany’s most interesting trumpetist, Heidi Bayer, to collaborate. Bayer was nominated for the German Jazz Prize in the brass department 2022 and her composition brought home the award the following year. Gunnlaugs has been awarded the Icelandic Music Prize three times and received numerous nominations. Joining them will be two Iceland based musicians, bassist Nico Moreaux, originally from France and drummer Scott McLemore originally from the USA.
Supported by Goethe Institute.
An evening pass is available for each night of the festival at Harpa Concert Hall. Each pass grants access to all concerts scheduled for that evening. All concerts take place in Norðurljós on 2nd floor. Please note that tickets are not sold for individual concerts at Harpa.
