Sungaze is a six-piece alternative band from Cincinnati, Ohio, helmed by songwriters Ian Hilvert and Ivory Snow. Influenced by the atmosphere of shoegaze and the nostalgic pull of midwest emo, their music blends lush, textured guitars with clear vocals and poetic lyricism.
After three albums, their sound has shifted from ethereal escape to something more grounded and lived-in. It’s music for people who feel deeply, don’t always fit, and still look for beauty in unexpected places.
