https://sundownerfunrun.niftyentries.com/Sundowner-2025Continuing Comberbach village's annual fun run tradition, this summer evening running event includes two races on the paths and trails of picturesque Marbury Park. Besides a 5k adult and 1k kids' fun run, there will be a BBQ, bar, cake stall and music, making it a fun and enjoyable evening out for all the family. All proceeds will go to the charity nominated by this year's Rose Queen: Lower Moss Wood Wildlife Hospital. The race starts and finishes near the ranger's office by the main entrance to Marbury Park. The race is gun timed - results will be published online after the race.
Timings
Children's 1k: U8s 6:15pm; U12s 6:30pm
Adults' 5k: 7:00pm
Entries
Early bird pre-entry via this site before 9 April: £7 for adults; £4 for children
Standard entry (from 9th April): £8 for adults; £5 for children
No entries on the day.
Prizes
1k: top three in each age category
5k: 1st female; 1st male; 1st junior
Family prize: top two family members across both races
Medal for all finishers of both races.
Dogs on leads / canicross welcome.
