Join WLRH 89.3 FM and talented Tennessee Valley wordsmiths at The Snail on the Wall Bookstore for a special evening celebrating one of the Valley’s favorite local radio programs: The Sundial Writers Corner.This live Sundial Writers Corner event will feature local authors and storytellers sharing original works of poetry and prose, along with favorite stories, memories, and moments from Sundial over the years. We’ll even pass the microphone so audience members can share their own experiences with the program - whether as a writer, listener, or longtime fan.
Expect familiar faces, familiar voices, and a celebration of the storytelling community that has made Sundial such a beloved part of the Tennessee Valley. The evening will also feature the program’s original creator and host.

Interested in having your work featured at this event?
You're invited to share original works of poetry or prose to be considered for inclusion. To be eligible, your writing must be original and five minutes in length and fit the theme of “It Happened One Summer." You must be available to read your work at the event.
Submissions may be emailed to [email protected] with “It Happened One Summer” in the subject line. The deadline to submit is 11 p.m. on May 31st.
