Northern Proud Voices @15 at Sunderland MinsterNorthern Proud Voices are the North East's largest and only LGBTQ+ & allies choir. It is the choirs' 15th anniversary this year and it is a huge privilege to be asked to perform a concert for the first time at Sunderland Minster to start Pride Month.
We are a non-audition community choir that is thriving as a space to sing, socialise and be safe in a world that is increasingly challenging. We are, however, flourishing and growing and take great comfort knowing it is a place where people can come to just enjoy their singing in a non-judgemental and inclusive space - and if hate is shouting we will just sing and love louder!!
Please come and join us for an inclusive evening of singing and help us 'raise the rafters' and a brief moment of respite from our challenges.
Doors open 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
Bar available.
Concert lasts one hour - but please stay around afterwards to socialise!
