Bianca Anne Braunesberger and Deyan Gerorgiev dive into a choreographic research which leads them into spheres of physically discussing the idea of what it means to connect with specific kinds of materials. Exploring the boundaries of the physical body, its spatial presence, how the body interacts with various materials and objects in an attempt to reveal emotional and existential truths through movement. This approach searches to uncover the deep connection between movement and environment. The body’s dialogue with its surroundings becomes a powerful medium, expressing its relationship to both the external world and its internal emotional landscape. In their showing they will share glimpses of embodiment and somatic practices that symbolize conversations with what might be beyond human conscious perception.

Ola Krzekotowska and Ashley do Rego create an interweaving of a choreography based on 5 essential movements and a musical composition based on 5 notes. This choice creates a limitation that forces the artists to carefully analyse what they are doing, how and why. They start with what they perceive to be the essential components of a performance, but there is also a specific artistic vision and therefore the need to decide what to add to the essential in order to fulfil that vision. No more, no less.
