💃 Join Glasgow Lindyhoppers plus SPECIAL GUEST TEACHERS, Christine Simpson and Rob Armitage, for our monthly Sunday Shimmy and new accompanying workshop on Sunday the 24th of November. 👀 Workshop details: Christine and Rob are enthusiastic social dancers of all the swing styles. You’ll often see them on the dance floors of Edinburgh, switching between Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa and Collegiate Shag as they feel inspired by the music. In their Lindy classes they approach learning from partnered connection first then bring in rhythms and inspiration from across swing and jazz history.
Rob and Christine regularly teach in their home scene of Edinburgh for Edinbop, Edinburgh Swing Dance Society, Edinburgh University Swing Dance Society and the Bal Club. They have also taught across the UK and at festivals in Europe
⭐️ Then, from 2-5pm, join us for social dancing and great music at November's Sunday Shimmy! Open to all levels of dance experience, this is the best way to improve your dancing and get to know other dancers better. Bar and kitchen open too.
