When Moses sought to behold the face of God, he was granted only a glimpse of God’s back. While Moses, in his time, was excited at that encounter; it is challenging to truly know someone through their back alone. To truly understand someone, one must see their face, for it is in the face that the essence of a person is revealed.
This is why Jesus came into the world—to unveil the Father to us. Through the Son, we are granted the privilege of witnessing the very face of God. “Grace and Truth” were embodied in our Lord Jesus Christ, and as we gaze upon Him, we encounter the fullness of the Father.
It is by divine intention that the entirety of the Godhead resides in Christ, allowing us to experience the Father in ALL His glory. Through Christ, we are invited into a deeper, greater, more intimate understanding of God—one that transcends the limitations of the Law and reveals His heart.
